Zlatan Sweden’s New All-Time Record Scorer
Sweden star, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has become his country's new all-time record-scorer following a brace in a 2-0 win over Estonia.
The 32-year-old has now scored 50 goals for Sweden, breaking Sven Rydell’s 82-year-old record which has stood since 1932.
Ibrahimovic’s second goal was a typical audacious back-heeled flick and the striker expressed his delight about the big achievement.
“It feels unbelievable. It's something I've been waiting a long time and now I'm finally there,” he told media.
"I'm glad it's done. It means a lot to me and my whole family, and everyone around me.”
As impressive as Ibrahimovic’s second goal against Estonia was, he still insists his bicycle kick against England in 2012 was the best goal of his career.
"I think the nicest goal is the one against England. Nothing beats it. But all goals are important because they have helped me get the record," he added.
