Ancelotti: Madrid System Not Broken
Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti, has defended his side's system, following their 2-1 loss to Atletico Madrid.
Cristiano Ronaldo had cancelled out Tiago's early opener, before a fine strike from Arda Turan secured the three points for Los Rojiblancos, and the Italian believes his system just lacks intensity.
"We need to analyse things and try to fix them fast," Ancelotti told reporters.
"The first half was good. In the second we were slower and less aggressive.
"There's nothing wrong with the system, it's the lack of intensity. It hasn't been a good start to the season, but it's just the start. We'll sort things out."
Ancelotti also commented on the whistles directed to captain and goalkeeper, Iker Casillas.
"I didn't hear any whistling directed at Iker. I was concentrating on the game," the Italian added. "It's not the goalkeeper's fault when you concede a goal at the near post." he added.
