Falcao, Blind Unveiled By United

Manchester United officially unveiled two of their latest signings, Radamel Falcao and Daley Blind, to the media on Thursday afternoon.

Both the Falcao and Blind were signed on the final day of the transfer window, and the Colombian striker, who joined on a season-long loan, has assured the United faithful that there is no problem with his knee.

"I feel well, I started to play two months ago with Monaco and I've improved in the last month a lot. I have scored goals and that's important to a striker. I am confident with my physical form and I am comfortable with my knee," he told the reporters.

“This is a new process, a new team and this year some new players have come in,” Falcao continued. “I think Manchester United will build a big team this season and in future seasons. I would like to be here and to be part of this project.

“I feel very good in myself and I am very happy to be here. I've had a great welcome. When you talk about a settling-in period, it makes it very easy when you are surrounded by quality players. I can't wait to get started.”

Meanwhile, the versatile Blind, who worked under Louis Va Gaal at the World Cup, says it won't matter whether he plays in defence or in the midfield.

"For me it's important I can (play) in both positions - defence and midfield," Blind told reporters

"I want to play and if it's on the left or in defence or in midfield, it's up to the coach.

"I try to do my best wherever I play."
