Ronaldo’s Portugal Need A New Coach

The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has confirmed that Paulo Bento has left his post by mutual consent following the shock defeat to Albania.
The 45-year-old has agreed for his contract to be terminated after his side lost 1-0 at home to minnows Albania in their opening EURO 2016 clash.
"We appreciate all that Paulo Bento did for the Seleccao, particularly in getting Portugal to Euro 2012 and World Cup 2014,” a FPF statement read.
"The FPF is already working on a structured solution to address our team and that will be known soon.
"Thanks again to Paulo Bento."
Bento took over from former South Africa coach, Carlos Queiroz, in 2010 and has guided Portugal to the EURO 2012, where they reached he semi-final, beaten on penalties by eventual winners Spain.
Portugal with superstar and team captain Cristinao Ronaldo struggling for fitness had a dismal World Cup and were eliminated in the group stages.
Ronaldo was also missing Portugal’s shock defeat to Albania, which ultimately led to Bento’s exit.
