Toure: Balotelli Has Grown Up

Liverpool defender, Kolo Toure, has insisted the club’s new signing, Mario Balotelli, has matured since his days at Manchester City.
Toure was a teammate of Balotelli at City and suggested the Italy striker has long passed incidents like throwing a dart at youth-team players.
"Some people have got the wrong idea about Mario," he told the Liverpool Echo.
"At City, he was young. And when you are young, you make some mistakes. Everyone does.
"He had a hard childhood but now he's more mature. He knows what he's doing. He knows he needs to work hard.”
Balotelli, who impressed during his debut for the club, joined Liverpool for £16 million and Toure promises the 24-year-old will help the Reds with his experience.
"For me he's always been a good boy but now I think he's more mature, more intelligent,” he added.
"He loves football and we are really happy to have him. With experience you become better. That's what we'll see from Mario."
Liverpool is Balotelli’s fourth club after playing for Inter, Manchester City and Milan.
