Ramos: I Never Sent CR7 Veiled Messages

Real Madrid defender, Sergio Ramos, has insisted he never sent ‘veiled’ messages to Cristiano Ronaldo after the Portuguese had criticized the club’s bosses.
Ronaldo recently expressed his unhappiness about the departures of Angel Di Maria and Xabi Alonso but Ramos had told him to abide club rules.
“I’ve never sent any veiled messages to Cristiano – apart from being a team mate, he’s my friend,” Ramos said in a press conference ahead of Spain’s friendly with France.
“In my opinion, it’s the club who makes the decisions, we have to respect them and that’s all.”
The France game is Spain’s first chance to make forget about the disappointing World Cup and Ramos insists Vicente del Bosque is the right man to guide La Roja back to success.
"We're excited as we kick off a new era with new players,” he added.
"In football you can't dwell on the past. You have to look excitedly and ambitiously towards the future. There are no friendlies here.
"Our relationship with the gaffer is the same as always. He's the best man for the task at hand.”
