International: Kolarov's Stunner Rescues Serbia
Aleksander Kolarov's sublime free-kick saw Serbia secure a 1-1 draw with France in a international friendly at the Stadion Partizana.
France are the hosts of the 2016 Euro Championships and will have partake in non-competitive fixtures for the next two years in preparation for tournament.
Paul Pogba gave Le Blues the lead in the 13th minute, the midfielder tapped home from close range after the Serbian defence failed to deal with Remy Cabella's corner.
Zoran Tosic came close to leveling matters midway through first half, as some good play with Tadir set up the former Manchester United winger, but he fired his effort inches wide of the upright.
Branislav Ivanovic came even closer just before the halftime break, as his thumping header crashed onto the crossbar.
The French almost doubled their lead in the 56th minute, but striker Loic Remy blasted wide of the mark from close range
Kolarov tested Hugo Lloris in quick succession in the 73rd minute, but the French number was equal to both efforts.
However, Lloris was eventually beaten in the 80th minute as Kolarov thumped home a 30-yard free-kick to salvage a draw for the Serbians.
